The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information from any person sending a message through our website:
- Name provided in the contact form
- Email address provided in the contact form
- Telephone number provided in the contact form (if supplied)
How we get the personal information and why we have it
All of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you when you fill in the message contact form on our website. If you do not message us, then we collect and hold no personal data.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on drmbeattie.com email servers only and no hard copies are produced.
We keep your name and email address supplied to us for a period of 6 months after your last contact with us. For example, if your message is dealt with and we have no further contact after that, then your information will be deleted from our email servers six months later. If we go on to have ongoing contact, including the provision of therapy, your details will remain on file until six months after our last contact.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
